Project

Permanent supportive housing, services for formerly homeless vets in OC

An inspirational example of what can be accomplished with bold intentions and creative collaboration of developers, designers
and funding sources, this permanent supportive housing community is designed to accommodate 75 vulnerable veterans
and families. Transforming a previously blighted parking lot on a 1.54 acre site, this aesthetically pleasing and affordable
community creates an environment that will allow its residents to truly thrive. In addition to comfortable and functional
individual housing units, this complex supports the physical and mental specials need of its residents by accommodating a
series of spaces designed to provide support and treatment. This LEED-certified community is further enhanced with indoor
and outdoor amenities and gathering spaces, and is walkable to local park, public transportation and shopping. This project
is sure to provide inspiration for much needed like-kind projects throughout the U.S.
